Blue Nile, Inc (the "Promoter") is offering users of the website at www.bluenile.co.uk operated by the Promoter the chance to win:

— a Blue Nile Signature Round Diamond appraised at roughly £3,000. Please note that the actual/appraised value might differ at the time of prize award.

There will be a total of two prizes available to be won by two entrants to this free prize draw. To participate in this free prize draw (the "Blue Nile Signature Diamond Competition" or "Competition") please access www.bluenile.co.uk and follow the online instructions to complete and transmit the entry form, to be submitted no earlier than Wednesday, February 17, 2010 and no later than Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Winners will be announced 15 days after the drawing dates indicated in Section 7 below.

Terms and Conditions

The following are further details about the Blue Nile Signature Competition and the terms and conditions that apply to all entries:

1. In order to participate in the free prize draw for the Blue Nile Signature Competition you must be a resident of the European Union and be accessing the website page (www.bluenile.co.uk/sweepstakes.jsp) from the EU. You must be aged 18 years or over to participate in the Competition. Employees, suppliers, officers, directors, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Competition are not eligible.
2. No payment of a premium is necessary to enter the Blue Nile Signature Competition. Entry into the free prize draw must be made by completing and transmitting the official entry form located at www.bluenile.co.uk/sweepstakes.jsp. No entries from agents, representatives, third parties, organised groups or applications generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries will be accepted. Any entries not made in accordance with these instructions will be rejected.
3. The Blue Nile Signature Diamond Competition will run from Wednesday, February 17, 2010 to Saturday, February 12, 2011. The closing date for receipt of entries is 23:59:59 p.m. (GMT) on Saturday, February 12, 2011(the "Closing Date").
4. The Competition is limited to one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
5. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries will become the property of the Promoter.
6. The first entry drawn at random by an independent judge from all entries accepted and received by the Draw Date on the relevant Draw Date will win one of two Blue Nile Signature Round Diamonds appraised at approximately £3,000. All remaining entries will automatically rollover and be included in the next draw on the next Draw Date. The commercial and appraised value may differ at the time the prize is awarded. The decision of the judge is final. All prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. The Promoter shall not be liable to you in any way for any loss damage or inconvenience you may suffer. No compensation or cash refunds will be payable. All prizes are non-transferable. No correspondence will be entered into.
7. The winners will be selected on the following draw dates (the "Draw Date"):
   • Thursday, July 15, 2010
   • Monday, January 31, 2011
   The winners will each be responsible for their own travel costs and all other prize related expenses.
8. The Promoter is under no obligation to and is not responsible or liable to you to run the Blue Nile Signature Competition and may cancel or suspend it at any time, with or without prior notice. If you breach these terms and conditions the Promoter has the right to reject your entry or withdraw any prize that you have won.
9. The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the Draw Date. The winner must claim its prize within 60 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these Blue Nile Signature Competition terms and conditions.

   Requests must be received within ten weeks after the Draw Date and include a SAE. Each entrant consents to the use of their personal details in accordance with this clause.

10. Winners of the Blue Nile Signature Competition may be required to participate in publicity arising from the Blue Nile Signature Competition. By accepting and/or using the prize, winners consent to the use of his name, voice and likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade or promotion.
11. By entering the Blue Nile Signature Competition, each entrant will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller (as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998) for the purposes of administration of the Blue Nile Signature Competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
